Great Gathering
RISE members from all of the branches gathered April 20th to prepare for the Passover, get to know each other and bond. Members from the UK, US and Canada were present. That night, we participated in activities that brought us closer together. Our purpose was to build community amongst Israelite youth across international branches to establish interpersonal relationships that will aid in nation building. In this, we were successful as not only did people get to know members they wouldn’t have otherwise had the opportunity to connect with, but we all had quality fun.
Feeling of community
There is no one else that understands our Israelite life and culture as much as our RISE peers do, and we believe it is imperative that we continually remind ourselves that we are not alone. In this, our event helped ensure that the feeling of community iscarried with us, always..
